Paddle Board litter pick-up coming to Glasgow Canal next week
People around Glasgow are being given the chance to help clean up one of the city's canals with a unique litter pick for World Clean Up Day.
Planet Patrol is offering green-minded residents the chance to join them on a paddleboarding litter pick to make a difference.
Taking place at Cadder Wharf in Bishopbriggs at 10am on Wednesday (September 25), the organisation say the free event will see them team up with Glasgow Paddleboarders Co., writing: "Who’s ready to have fun and take action for World Clean Up Day?

"We provide everything you need, including a paddleboard, safety vest, litter pick and a bucket to collect your litter whilst you're out on the water. Then it’s back to base to use the free Planet Patrol app to record your findings to hold polluters accountable."
They added that "everyone is welcome and no experience is necessary", for those looking to take part.
