Paddy McGuinness and Chris Harris to return to screens in new BBC road trip show

Paddy McGuinness and Chris Harris are to return to screens in a new BBC show called Paddy And Chris: Road Tripping.

It will be the first show the pair have appeared in together since former England cricketer Andrew ‘Freddie’ Flintoff, 46, was badly hurt in an accident while filming Top Gear at Dunsfold Aerodrome in December 2022, which led to the show being rested for the “foreseeable future” by the BBC.

The new show will see McGuinness and Harris travel around Sweden, Greece and Switzerland to explore the secrets to living a long and full life.

It will see them try out rollercoasters, surfing, woodland workouts and even cosmetic treatments, as they investigate how Europeans grow old gracefully.

The three-part series will see the two meet some of the longest-living people alive.

In a trailer for the show, McGuinness says: “Me and Chris have decided to tackle getting older head on.”

Harris adds: “Visiting our European neighbours for the secret to ageng more gracefully.”

Then McGuinness chimes in: “Well, less disgracefully.”

The first episode of Paddy And Chris: Road Tripping will air on BBC One on Sunday, September 29, and will also be available on iPlayer.
