Paedophile gets sentencing hearing delayed so he can go on holiday
A paedophile’s sentencing for trying to meet a young girl for sex has been delayed so he can go on holiday to the Lake District.
Kristopher Cook’s sentencing for attempting “penetrative sexual activity” with a child was pushed back by a week so he can make the trip.
Cook, 24, from South Shields, had reportedly pleaded guilty to attempting to engage a child under 16 in sexual activity.
He has been warned he faces jail, but his sentencing hearing was delayed at the request of his defence so he can go on a pre-booked break to the Lake District with his family.
The decision has been dubbed a “joke” by paedophile hunter group Dark Justice, which said he should be punished, not allowed to go on holiday.
