Pair robbed of bike by knife-wielding mugger outside London Overground station

Police are searching for a man after two victims were threatened with a knife and had their bicycle stolen. The knifepoint robbery took place in Homerton, Hackney borough, on Monday, May 20.

The incident happened at around 9:40pm outside the Homerton Overground Station in Berger Road. It was reported that a male in possession of a knife approached two other males.

The suspect threatened the males with the knife before stealing their bicycle. Officers attended the scene but both the suspect and the two victims had left the scene.

There have been no arrests and enquiries continue. Anyone who was in the area and witnessed this incident, or who has footage that could assist police, is asked to call 101 or contact them on X @MetCC and quote 01/378864/24.
