Palestinians Protest in Bethlehem Over US-Led Investment Summit in Bahrain

Palestinians gathered in Bethlehem and other West Bank cities on June 25 to protest meetings in Bahrain to discuss a US-led economic plan for the West Bank and Gaza.

The ‘Peace to Prosperity’ economic summit is part of a proposed plan by US President Donald Trump to revive the Israeli-Palestinian peace process. This phase aims to encourage investment in the Palestinian Territories. Palestinian business groups and the Palestinian Authority have boycotted the plan.

This footage shows Palestinians carrying signs and Palestinian flags. A donkey is seen plastered with photos of politicians and officials, including Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and President Trump.
