Panama’s Rolanda Bell went head-first into the water during the steeplechase earlier

Rolanda bell won’t forget her experience at this year’s World Athletics Championship in a hurry.

Going in Heat 3 of the 3000m steeplechase, the Panamanian athlete misjudged a jump and went headfirst into the water, with Ireland’s Kerry O’Flaherty narrowly missing the drama having scaled the obstacle moments earlier.

The 27-year-old brushed off the incident and continued though she finished in last place, 20 seconds behind the winner.
