Paramedics sent to 'medical emergency' at Stoke-on-Trent hotel
Paramedics were called to a medical emergency at a Stoke-on-Trent hotel. A man was discovered at the Sneyd Arms Hotel in Tunstall shortly before 6pm yesterday (August 10).
He was then rushed to the Royal Stoke University Hospital for treatment.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: "We were called to a medical incident at an address on Tower Square in Tunstall at 5.40pm on Saturday. An ambulance was sent to the scene where, on arrival, crews discovered a man.
"He received treatment from ambulance staff before being conveyed on blue lights to Royal Stoke University Hospital."
The emergency came after hundreds of campaigners signed a petition calling for Stoke-on-Trent City Council to stop housing homeless people at the Sneyd Arms.
