Paramedics treat driver as car wipes out sign and railings
Paramedics have assessed a woman after her car smashed into a set of railings. A cycle lane sign was also knocked over during the smash in Hartshill.
StokeonTrentLive reported how cops and paramedics were spotted on Hartshill Road, near the Palmers Green junction, this morning. Photographs from the scene show the railings lifted from the ground while a sign letting cyclists know the cycle lane is ending was also uprooted.
Subsequently police taped off the pavement.

West Midlands Ambulance Service says paramedics assessed one patient after being called to the scene at 10.25am.
A spokeswoman said: "We were called by the police to reports of a road traffic collision on Hartshill Road. One ambulance attended the scene. The driver, a woman, was assessed and discharged at the scene."
