Paris Hilton on Son Phoenix's 1st Birthday Party Plans Including Petting Zoo
Hilton revealed on 'The Jennifer Husdon Show' Wednesday that her 2006 tune "Stars Are Blind" is Phoenix's favorite song
Paris Hilton is going all out for her son Phoenix's 1st birthday!
The reality TV star, 42, opened up about her son’s milestone celebration on Wednesday night’s episode of The Jennifer Hudson Show.
Hilton revealed that the toddler’s party, which is taking place this weekend, will include “a petting zoo” and a “ball pit and slides.”
“I know he’s only one but all the parents are coming and there will be some older kids as well. It will be fun for all ages over at the house. It’s going to be really sweet,” the DJ and heiress said.
Lucky Phoenix — whom Hilton shares with husband Carter Reum, also 42 — has already been treated to a smaller gathering, which took place on his actual birthday [Jan. 16] and featured a huge number of stuffed toy animals including a giraffe, a llama and a penguin.
When she shared a carousel of snaps of the event on Instagram, the singer wrote, “Celebrating with my Birthday Boy,” alongside numerous animal emojis.
Hilton also marked her son’s special day with another Instagram post in which she reflected on her first year of motherhood.
She wrote a heartfelt caption, revealing that Phoenix’s arrival had been a “dream come true” for her alongside a series of snaps taken during his first year.
The “Stars Are Blind" singer also said, “Every day with you is a priceless gift, and I’m endlessly grateful to be your mommy. 🌟🥰 Celebrating your first of many birthdays, Baby P.”
Later on the show, Hudson, 42, asked Hilton about her forthcoming album, with the star sharing that Australian singer-songwriter Sia — who she described as a “genius” and “the greatest songwriter of our time” — will be producing the record.
“I’m so proud of this album, it’s all about my legacy and love and celebrating my life,” Hilton explained of the album, which is a follow-up to her 2006 self-titled debut.
Hilton, who opted to wear a glittery pink mini-dress with a matching pink hair bow on the show, then shared that her son has inherited her love of performance.
“Phoenix loves music,” she said, adding that she’d even brought the toddler along to the recording studio.
“He has just learned how to dance recently and he loves music. I love singing "Stars Are Blind" to him at night as a lullaby. It’s his favorite song.”
Hilton and her husband recently expanded their family when they welcomed a baby girl called London in November. Both Phoenix and London were born via surrogate.

And when asked how little Phoenix has adapted to being a big brother, Hilton told Hudson that the tot is “very curious" about his younger sibling, but also “so gentle and sweet."
The star went on to share that she’d always wanted a big brother when she was growing up so she's thrilled that London will always have Phoenix to “watch and protect her.”
