Paris Hilton has revealed whether we can expect a revival of her show The Simple Life.

The multi-millionaire star shared that she was approached to revive the popular series a while ago, admitting that while she loves the show, she has an "extremely busy work schedule" at the moment.

The news come after recent rumours from fans whose tweets have been buzzing on social media that a reboot is actually happening.

Taking to her Twitter page on Tuesday (June 25), Hilton addressed all those rumours, ruling out any possibility of a reboot.

"Someone has made a fake fan account & invented this #TheSimpleLife rumor," she wrote on Twitter.

"There is no truth to it. Yes, I love that show & I was approached again to do it. But I had to say no as I have an extremely busy work schedule travelling the world running my empire."

The show premiered back in 2003 and Hilton co-starred with Nicole Richie for five seasons.

The series portrayed Hilton and Richie as two society girls who leave their wealthy lives and party days to work jobs such as maids, farmers and restaurant workers so they can experience life as they have never before.

The Simple Life ran for three seasons on Fox, but due to low ratings and Hilton and Richie's off-screen falling out, the network cancelled the show at the time.

It was later revived by E! for two more seasons, but was eventually cancelled again in 2007.
