Move on Emily, Cardi B is in Paris.

And oh boy did we know about it, as she strutted out in a rainbow array of new season Richard Quinn outfits. Her favourite? The hip to heel coverage trousers (complete with frilled bonnet).

There have been plenty of exclusive gatherings to go around, as well. One of the booziest was hosted by photographer Mert Alas for his new gin brand, Seventy One Gin. A sumptuous drinks and dinner unfolded at the 1766 founded restaurant, Lapérouse, where the newly launched spirit attracted a sparkling crowd including Mariacarla Boscono, Kate Moss, and Naomi Campbell.

Kate Moss has (naturally) also had a packed schedule, a pinnacle being the launch of her new jewellery collaboration – MESSIKA by Kate Moss. After a glitzy show, Valérie Messika chatted with the supermodel while Jordan Barrett and Karen Elson posed for photographers.

There were drinks on Zara and Charlotte Gainsbourg at the launch of their new collaboration, a 22-piece line which goes for sale on October 7, which was enjoyed by press figures including Vogue Paris’ editor Emmanuelle Alt and Head of Fashion at YouTube fashion Derek Blasberg, alongside fashion royalty Naomi Campbell and Valentino’s Pierpaolo Piccioli.

Alt’s Vogue Paris predecessor, Carine Roitfeld also held a glittering do for her publication CR Fashion Book. Thanks to a plentiful supply of Grey Goose vodka, a group including Burberry’s Riccardo Tisci, Irina Shayk and Evan Mock were able to get moving.

And then came the shows. And f’rows. To give credit where it’s due, the houses presenting in Paris know how to put on one hell of spectacle. Dior got the ball rolling earlier in the week, with British fashion represented by the likes of Alexa Chung and Iris Law, while the creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri chuckled with actress Rosamund Pike.

Stella McCartney put on a (surprise) runway where an intimate crowd of 60 included her father, Paul McCartney, alongside Anna Wintour and Paris Jackson. Stellar. And the highlight paparazzi moment? Balenciaga’s show-within-a-red-carpet. Here, Cardi was joined by Offest, Amber Valletta, and the other host of models – plus the guests - as it was live streamed into the Théâtre du Châtelet, where all got seated together to watch The Simpsons X Balenciaga. Trust Gvasalia to make fashion funny again.
