Park in Austin Suburbs Under Water After Overnight Storms

Sections of the Austin, Texas, metro area were flooded after overnight thunderstorms inundated the city with rain on September 22.

This drone footage captured by Austin cinematographer Adam Grumbo shows the flooded Fritz Park in the town of Hutto.

According to the Austin Statesman, as of 9 am local time on September 22, a flood warning was in effect for the San Gabriel River, which was expected to crest at 24.2 feet by the afternoon.
