Passengers Gasp as New York Bus Ploughs Through Floodwaters

Severe storms swept through New York City on Monday, July 18, causing flash flooding and travel disruptions across the city.

The National Weather Service issued a flash-flood warning for Manhattan, The Bronx, Yonkers, and New Rochelle on Monday evening and urged residents to move to higher ground.

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority said some subway services were disrupted due to flooding on Monday. Storyful verified video showing water cascading into Dyckman Street subway station.
