Patsy Palmer has swapped Malibu for Berkshire as she gears up to take part in 'Dancing on Ice'.

The former 'EastEnders' actress has temporarily moved back to the UK with her family, ahead of the new series of the ice skating reality show, which begins on January 15th.

According to the Daily Mirror newspaper, Patsy - best known for playing Bianca Jackson in the BBC One soap - had been training on ice rinks in Los Angeles with her American pro skating partner Matt Evers.

But the star - who has children Fenton, 22, Emilia, 21, and Bertie, 12, with her husband Richard Merkell - is now based near Windsor.

And 50-year-old Patsy - who moved to the US in 2014 - has set her sights on winning 'Dancing on Ice'.

She said: "I’m not competitive but this time I’m going to say let’s try and win it.

"I’m going to focus on the training and use meditation, and this will really put it to the test for me.

"This is for all the 50 year olds. I’m quite scared now."

Patsy will take part in the show alongside The Wanted singer Siva Kaneswaran, Liberty X star Michelle Heaton, former 'TOWIE' star Joey Essex, 'RuPaul's Drag Race UK' contestant The Vivienne, football legend John Fashanu, 'Love Island' star Ekin-Su Culculoglu, ex-'Hollyoaks' star Carley Stenson, Olympic gymnast Nile Wilson and ‘Coronation Street’ actress Mollie Gallagher.

They will be hoping to impress the judging panel, made up of Olympic skating legends Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean, as well as Diversity dancer Ashley Banjo and former 'Strictly Come Dancing' professional dancer Oti Mabuse.
