Patsy Stevenson, famously arrested at a vigil to mark the murder of Sarah Everard by a police officer, spoke at a 'Kill the Bill' protest outside the UK parliament. The protest was one of several around the UK on Saturday 15 January, opposing the British government's Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Bill. Opponents say it will sharply curtail the right to protest. It will also give the police new surveillance and stop-and-search powers.
