In case you hadn’t have guessed from his, jazzy shirts, portly figure and silvery grey hair, Paul Hollywood is the kind of man who likes cars.

A new series sees him set off for the continent on four wheels.

Here’s everything you need to know about the three-part series.

What’s it about?

Taking a break from all that cake, this spin-off show follows Hollywood as he gets to grips with European countries via their cars. Each week he’s joined by a different celebrity from the country he’s visiting who shares some wisdom on the local driving culture.

Who’s presenting it?

The name gives it away, Paul Hollywood is the man very much at the centre of this show, so if he wasn’t your favourite judge in the Bake Off tent, it might be best to steer clear. Among the celebs guiding him are German comedian Christian Shulte-Loh and bubbly Bruno from that other big BBC talent show, Strictly Come Dancing.

What happens in episode one?

Hollywood takes Tonioli for a trip around Rome in a bright orange Lamborghini as he attempts to adapt to the Italian style of driving. But not all the cars are quite so fancy - Paul also takes a three-wheeler for a spin as he spends the day working as a delivery driver.

When’s it on?

Paul Hollywood’s Big Continental Road Trip airs on BBC Two at 9pm on Sunday May 28.
