Paul Hollywood 'engaged' to girlfriend Melissa Spalding

Paul Hollywood has reportedly become engaged to his girlfriend Melissa Spalding after three years of dating.

'The Great British bake Off' star is said to have proposed to Melissa several months ago but they are believed to have been keeping the happy news quiet until recently, according to The Sun.

A source told The publication: "Paul proposed some months ago, but they have been keeping it very quiet since then. It’s only in the past month that she has begun wearing her engagement ring out in public, and sharing their news with friends. There are no wedding plans in place yet.”

Paul, 56, is said to have popped the question to Melissa over Easter.

The TV star was previously married for 19 years to his ex-wife Alexandra, but they divorced in 2019 and he went on to date 26-year-old Summer Monteys-Fullam. That relationship ended in 2019 amid reports he'd asked her to sign a non-disclosure agreement and he went on to find love with 38-year-old pub landlady Melissa, who later moved into his country home as they spent time together during the COVID-19 pandemic.

A source previously told DailyMail.com: "Paul and Melissa spent a lot of time together in lockdown. They bubbled up together and stayed at his house. Now she is there for good. They are delightfully happy ... "

Melissa is believed to have been engaged twice before but never married.

The relationship between Paul and Melissa was officially confirmed in late 2019 when a representative for the TV baker said: "'They are very happily together."

They later went public with their love by attending a film premiere in London together last year.
