Speaking to The Sun, a source revealed: “Paul is as happy as he’s ever been to be married to Andre.

“They kept the wedding to just their closest family and friends and had a big lunch afterwards to celebrate.”

According to the publication, guests watched the 62-year-old TV presenter and 37-year-old former ballerina say ‘I do’ in the gardens of the swanky hotel, with the party dining on crab and smoked salmon canapes and sipping on champagne to toast the newlyweds.

Paul previously wed his gay friend Teresa Fernandes in 1977 to stop her from being deported, with the pair splitting in 2005 – the same year his lover of 20 years, Brendan Frank Murphy, died of cancer.

He also had a daughter, Sharyn, with his friend Diane Jansen in 1974.

Speaking in 2014, the star claimed that he didn’t want to get married, saying at the time: “Why the f*** would I want to get married?

“I was married for 25 years to a Portuguese lesbian. I’m divorced. And I’ve a daughter of 40 and two grandkids.”

Paul and Andre, who used to dance with the English National Ballet, have been dating since 2006.
