Paul Rudd's perfect response to New York Post throwing shade about ‘Sexiest Man Alive’ title

On Monday, actor Paul Rudd stopped by “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” where he discussed being named People magazine’s “Sexiest Man Alive.” Hev also discussed some of the responses from fans and media online.

The Guardian ran a headline which read, “Do you fancy Paul Rudd? You're either a sociopath or a liar if you say no.” When asked about the headline, Rudd said, “I would like to thank The Guardian, first of all, for hiring my mom.”

While Rudd has been lauded as the perfect pick for the award, the New York Post, whose Page Six incorrectly claimed Chris Evans would be receiving the title, threw some shade at the actor. After winning, they ran the headline “Sorry, Paul Rudd is many things -- but Sexiest Man Alive is not one of them.” But like a true Role Model, he offered a perfect response.

“Hey, that might be the first thing I ever read in the New York Post that I agree with,” Rudd said. “That’s not fake news.”
