Paul Weller is set to become a father for the eighth time at the age of 58.

The former frontman of The Jam has announced that his wife Hannah Matthews, 30, is pregnant with their third child together.

“Paul and Hannah are delighted to confirm the wonderful news that they are expecting their third child together,” read an announcement on the star’s official website.

“Hannah and baby are doing great and the whole family are looking forward to meeting the littlest Weller in the summer.”

Weller and Andrews, who was a backing singer on his 22 Dreams album, tied the knot back in 2010 having dated for two years.

They welcomed twin sons John Paul and Bowie, named after Weller’s musical heroes, on January 14 2012.

Weller is also father to Leah, 29, and Natt, 26, from his first marriage to Dee C. Lee, a backing singer from his former band, The Style Council.

He then welcomed daughter Dylan after a relationship with a make-up artist before settling down with Samantha Stock for 13 years.

Weller and Stock had two children together, Jesamine, 16, and Stevie Mac, 12, before they separated in 2008.
