The Only Way Is Essex will start off surprisingly peaceful tonight… but we all know it's never serene for long in Essex.

The calm before the storm comes after Megan McKenna had it out with Chloe Sims in Sunday's episode, bringing to an end to weeks of sniping at one another over Megan's messy split with Pete Wicks.

Tonight's episode will actually start with Megan and Chloe chatting about how glad they were to clear the air, with the reconciliation even inspiring Megan to give her old flame Pete a call.

With Megan proposing a truce with Pete, it looks like a friendly atmosphere is spreading throughout Essex at last. Not for long…

The troublemaker he is, Pete almost immediately finds himself in trouble again when Yazmin Oukhellou discovers that he'd been gossiping behind her back.

Lockie's new girlfriend is furious, and has to be talked down by Megan and Amber Turner - a crisis management team if ever there was one - before deciding to confront Pete.

Shrapnel spills over when Yaz comes face to face with Lockie later in the episode. Yaz tries to set some new ground rules for their relationship, but Lockie isn't sure he wants to abide by them.

There's clearly stormy weather ahead, despite the couple saying earlier this week that they planned on "being together forever".

Elsewhere tonight, half of the crew go glamping and Courtney Green is thrilled to find estranged boyfriend Myles Barnett tagging along. Will they reconcile after all?
