A pedestrian has suffered 'potentially serious injuries' after being struck by a car on the A500. The collision closed a section of the northbound A500 - between the junction 16 M6 roundabout and the Talke turn-off - following a 'multi-vehicle collision'.

The A500 was closed from around lunchtime on Saturday 23 November.

StokeonTrentLive is still waiting for a statement from Staffordshire Police following the weekend collision. But West Midlands Ambulance Service has revealed it sent two ambulances to the crash scene.

Two occupants from the car were also assessed but uninjured."
