Pedestrian hit by car on busy Glasgow road as emergency services race to scene
A pedestrian has been hit by a car on a busy road in Glasgow.
Emergency services scrambled to Duntreath Avenue in the Knightswood area, near Drumchapel, after the alarm was raised at around 2pm on Friday.
Officers were alerted to a crash between a vehicle and a pedestrian.

The extent of the person's injuries is currently unclear. Emergency crews remain at the scene.
A Police Scotland spokesperson told Glasgow Live: “Around 2pm on Friday, September 13, 2024, officers were called to a report of a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian in Duntreath Avenue, Knightswood. Emergency services are at the scene."
