Pensioners Rally for Increase in Public Pension Across Spain

Thousands of pensioners sang songs while waving banners outside government buildings in Barcelona on March 17, demanding a rise in public pensions.

The government raised the pension by 0.25% in 2017, however, due to inflation protesters say pensioners are overall worse off.
