People Gather in Minneapolis for Concert on Anniversary of George Floyd's Death

Music was performed by the rapper Common in Minneapolis on May 25 to mark the first anniversary of George Floyd’s death.

Floyd was killed by former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin in May 2020, setting off a wave of racial justice protests worldwide. Chauvin was convicted of second-degree unintentional murder, third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter and was due to be sentenced in June.
