After Luigi Mangione's Arrest, Dozens Of People Started Leaving Fake Reviews On THAT McDonald's Yelp Page
As you likely know, Luigi Mangione has been charged with murder in the killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, and he's currently challenging extradition from Pennsylvania to New York where he faces charges.
Earlier this week, Luigi was arrested while eating at a McDonald's in Altoona, Pennsylvania, after someone at the location tipped the police.

Now, in response to his arraignment, dozens of people are flooding that McDonald's Yelp page with purportedly fake, negative reviews.
In large, the posts refer to employees as "snitches" and "rats" — likely in reference to rumors claiming the tipster was an employee. This, however, remains unclear.
"The fries were cold, the burger was raw, the soda was flat, and the employees are snitches," one Yelp user wrote.
"This McDonald's is officially the worst place on Earth," another added. "I walked in for a McChicken, and what did I get? A front-row seat to a rat's Olympic floor routine."
This particular reviewer offered a final score of sorts: "Rat 1, Humanity 0," they wrote.
Other reviews suggested potential customers steer clear of the location and opt for nearby fast food restaurants instead.
The location's rating currently stands at a 1.2 out of 5 stars on Yelp.
Speaking of Yelp, the platform has since disabled the ability to leave a review on the location's page. This statement appears instead:
"This business recently received increased public attention, which often means people come to this page to post their views on the news. While we don’t take a stand one way or the other when it comes to this incident, we’ve temporarily disabled the posting of content to this page as we work to investigate whether the content you see here reflects actual consumer experiences rather than the recent events. Please note that we apply this same policy regardless of the business and regardless of the topic at issue."
