A Tumblr account is asking people to recreate album covers in 10 minutes or less - and the results are pretty spectacular.

Cover For Me is a challenge to recreate an album cover within a strict time limit, and the idea is to take the iconic image from a music album and use whatever is around you to recreate the shot as exactly as you can.

As imagined, some people went way too far with this challenge and, also as imagined, most of the snaps are hilarious.

From Stereophonics to Wasnatch to John Travolta and Olivia Newton John's Christmas album, here is just a taste of what the account has to offer - from the amazing, brilliant and possibly probably bored minds up for the task.

Considering the account only went live this month, there are an impressive number of imitations so far, and some of them are pretty good.

In fact, you can check out the entire collection right here and have a good giggle.

Of course, Craig David kicked off this re-creating album covers lark last year by recreating the cover of his debut album Born To Do It and, not to be outdone, Steps announced their 20th anniversary comeback this year with the reveal of a new album - and its artwork looks pretty familiar too.

If you want to give it a go yourself, you may want to stay clear of these controversial pieces of album artwork from the '00s, but if you want all the album cover fun with the absolute minimal effort, we've also got a handy quiz for you to test your knowledge too.
