People rescued by lifeguard off Cleveleys coast
People were rescued from the coast off Cleveleys this morning (Saturday).
At 11.01am this morning (September 21), volunteers from Blackpool RNLI were paged to respond to an incident off the coast of Cleveleys. It involved persons in the water with an incoming tide.
To react, both D Class lifeboats, Blackpool Endeavour and Phyllis Rowan were launched within minutes.

Whilst on their way, the persons were aided to shore by members of the public and into the care of HM Coastguard personnel on the shore. As the incident was then resolved, both lifeboats stood down and returned to the Lifeboat Station.
