People Are Spotting A Cotton Candy-Dipped Ice Cream Cone At DQ Just In Time For Spring

When it comes to Dairy Queen treats, it seems like Blizzards get all the love. Are we really all forgetting that the chain has SO many amazing treats like milkshakes, parfaits, and ice cream cones? We shouldn't be, and that's why you're going to want to pay attention to this new cotton candy-dipped ice cream cone that's being spotted at Dairy Queen.

This cone was first rumored to be hitting menus a few months back, but now it is really coming! If you're not familiar, Dairy Queen offers ice cream cones dipped in hards shells in flavors like chocolate and butterscotch. But now, a new bright blue shell is taking the internet by storm, and its name is Cotton Candy.

At first we were a wee bit skeptical of this supposed new offering. After all, chains do so many product tests, and we hate to get our hearts broken when something is just a rumor or may never be coming our way. But various Dairy Queen franchises and customers around the country have been posting photos and videos of the treat as well as signs advertising that it's on its way. That seemed pretty legit to us.

We reached out to Dairy Queen and they confirmed that while this has started popping up already, it will be available nationwide on March 19! The cone is already on DQ's online menu! I KNOW! It's official. I feel flustered, honestly.

For now, well, we'll just have to keep dreaming of warmer weather when we can get our hands on cotton candy AND ice cream separately.
