People urged to call 999 if they see missing Basildon man

Police are urging people to call 999 if they see a 45-year-old man missing from an Essex town. Essex Police said officers are working hard to find Philip Abbott.

Mr Abbot is missing from Basildon. Police have said he also has links to the Dagenham area.

An Essex Police spokesperson said: "Have you seen Philip Abbott, 45, who is missing from Basildon? We’re working hard to find him and are appealing for anyone who may have seen him to get in touch.

"Philip is described as white, around 5ft 11ins in height, with short black/grey hair, wearing black rimmed glasses. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black joggers and white trainers with blue and pink patterns.

"If you have any information as to his whereabouts, please call 999 quoting incident 402 of 15 November."
