People are being urged to check sheds and alleyways as part of the search for a missing pensioner. Police have shared a new photo of Ian Taylor and are appealing for the public's help to find the 75-year-old.

Mr Taylor was last seen in the Lindford area, near Bordon, at around 9.40pm on Thursday (October 10). Police search teams and Hampshire Search and Rescue are continuing to search for him around the border of Surrey and Hampshire.

He is described as white, 6ft 2in tall, of a broad build, with grey, balding hair. Police says they do not know what he was wearing at the time he went missing but he is likely to be wearing glasses.

A Hampshire Police appeal said: "Do you live in the areas of Lindford, Bordon, Whitehill, Headley, Headley Down, Grayshott, Hindhead or Deadwater? If you live in the above areas can you assist us by checking your garden, outbuildings and nearby alleyways and bin sheds? Is there any signs that someone may have entered or slept there?

"If you have CCTV, a doorbell camera or a dash cam on your home address, business or vehicle, please check to see if anyone matching the description of Ian can be seen on the footage between the hours of 9pm on Thursday 10 October and 7am on Friday 11 October."

Police are also appealing to shops and local businesses and want to know if any customers matching Ian’s description have visited since 9pm on Thursday, October 10.

"The appeal added: "If you think you’ve seen Ian since he went missing or think you might know where he is now or have relevant CCTV footage, please contact us immediately by calling 999 and quoting 44240442984."
