Peppa Pig's 16-year-old voiceover star gets paid £1,000-an-hour

It’s been revealed that the child actress that voices the popular cartoon Peppa Pig is paid £1,000-an-hour.

Alongside on-screen acting, voiceover work is a well paid profession, so it’s no surprise that, regardless of what age you are, film and TV execs are going to pay big money for their stars.

According to a source at the Daily Star, the voiceover artist fo the main character, 16-year-old Harley Bid, is earning a grand an hour.

‘Harley is the most successful teenage voiceover artist in Britain right now,’ claims the insider.

Earning an impressive £12,000 each week, the schoolgirl is predicted to be a millionare by the time she reaches 21.

‘She is hot property and easily earns £1,000 an hour,’ the source continued.

‘She’s also difficult to replace as she’s mature enough to be a great actress but still has the distinctive voice families around the world know as Peppa.’

Harley has played the role of Peppa the cartoon pig for 11 years, beginning her voiceover career when she was just 4-years-old, and keeps two pet pigs at her family home, named Peppa and George.

Harley has already starred alongside Irish-born Hollywood actress Saoirse Ronan in How I Live Now, and is the lead in Miranda Hart-created So Sammy that airs on the Disney Channel.
