Performers Sing 'New York, New York' to Celebrate Broadway Reopening

A group of performers belted out a rendition of Frank Sinatra’s ‘New York, New York’ to celebrate the reopening of Broadway shows in New York on September 14.

Lin-Manuel Miranda – the “Hamilton” creator who wrote the music, book and lyrics for the hit musical – announced the 5 pm show on Twitter. The performance outside the Richard Rodgers Theatre was called a “Ham4Ham”, where traditionally a lottery would be held to sell 10-dollar front-row tickets to the show.
