Perivale stabbing: Young man fighting for life after knife attack on quiet north-west London road

A young man is fighting for life after he was stabbed in the chest on a quiet road in north-west London.

Emergency services rushed to the scene in Bilton Road, Perivale, shortly before 8.15pm on Sunday.

Police and paramedics attended and found a man aged in 20s suffering from a stab wound to the chest.

London's Air Ambulance was scrambled and took the man to a west London hospital where he remains in a critical condition, Scotland Yard said.

A section of the road has been cordoned off as detectives comb the scene for evidence.

Police said no arrests have been made.
