Person seriously injured after car collides with wall in Exeter
One person has suffered serious injuries at the scene of a crash in Exeter, police have confirmed. Emergency services rushed to the scene of a single-vehicle collision at Chantry Meadow at around 10.50am today (Tuesday, October 1).
An air ambulance was filmed landing in the area and an eyewitnesses reported four ambulances and a fire engine at the scene of the crash. One eyewitness told DevonLive a car had collided with a wall.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police confirmed one person has been seriously injured. Chantry Meadow is closed in both directions and police have advised motorists to avoid the area.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said: "Emergency Services are currently at the scene of a serious collision on Chantry Meadow, Exeter.
"Police were notified at around 10.50am today, Tuesday 1 October, to reports of a collision involving one vehicle.
"One person has been seriously injured. Local road closures have been put in place and motorists are being advised to avoid the area."
Traffic monitor Inrix reports: "Chantry Meadow in both directions closed due to accident, a car involved from Chudleigh Road to Dawlish Road. Traffic is coping well."
