Person seriously injured after van crash near Frome
A person has suffered serious injuries and been rushed to hospital following a two-vehicle crash this morning, Friday, January 24. Emergency services were called to a scene of the two-vehicle crash on the A36 and motorists have been told to expect delays.
A van and a car were involved in the crash, which took place on Black Dog Hill police have said. National Highways has said there has been a spillage following the crash.
It said: "The #A36 in #Wiltshire is closed in both directions between the #A350 (south) #Warminster and the #B3414 #NortonBavant due to collision which has resulted in a spillage. Police investigations ongoing. More information to follow, thank you for your patience."

A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police has said: "Please be aware of road closures in place on routes leading to Black Dog Hill, on the A36, near Warminster while emergency services attend a road traffic collision. Drivers should seek alternative routes and expect delays in the area.
"The incident involves a collision between a car and a van. One person has been taken to hospital to be treated for serious injuries"
