There are so many things to think about when renting an apartment or home. First off— does it fall within your price range? If not, may we direct you to our list of the cheapest cities to rent apartments in? Next, you have to think about location— is the area safe and convenient? Not to mention, will this rental accommodate your entire family—including the furry, whiskered, members? While this might not be the first thing that comes to mind when starting your apartment search, you never want to accidentally sign into a lease assuming your landlord is cool with pets. While we see our pets as the most lovable and adorable creatures, (I mean, dogs are literally making us healthier!) not everyone else feels that way and might forbid them from the complex.

Luckily, Homes.com recently conducted a study that shows which cities across the country have the most pet-friendly rentals options to choose from, and which cities have the least. These results were based on the percentage of rentals that allowed pets out of the total number of rental properties in that city using data from October 2019.
