Pete Doherty's two dogs have been accused of killing his neighbour's cat, according to The Sun.

The incident involving the Libertines frontman's Siberian Huskies reportedly took place on Monday (November 12) near Doherty's home in Margate, Kent.

The tabloid quotes Penny, the owner of the cat named Archie, as saying: "[Doherty] hasn't even bothered to come around and say sorry.

"It is disgusting that he should be taking powerful and aggressive dogs like that for walks off their leads.

"He is responsible for Archie's death. It could have been a child. I hope he's a better singer than a dog owner.

"Archie used to follow me everywhere and sit on the dresser in the kitchen purring his head off. It is awful. I feel so sad. I just have to keep busy to take my mind off him."

In 2016, Hollyoaks star Davinia Taylor revealed that she once hid her best friend Kate Moss in her basement to help her avoid ex Doherty.

"[Kate], Lila [Kate's daughter] and her PA were in the basement. It was a refuge for her," Taylor told The Sun.

Doherty also made headlines earlier this year when he wolfed down a huge breakfast challenge at a cafe in the Kent seaside town.
