Peter Andre and Emily MacDonagh welcome a baby boy

Huge congratulations are in order for Peter Andre and Emily Macdonagh, with the couple welcoming their second child into the world on Monday morning.

An excited Pete took to social media to break the news last night, writing to his thousands of followers: “Very very happy for our new baby boy :)) …

“Thanks so much for all your lovely comments. Buzzing. [sic]”

The star went on to add that they didn’t have a name for their newborn yet, joking that he will try to have one within five weeks after a fan reminded him that it took the couple six weeks to name their little girl, two-year-old Amelia.

Speaking to The Sun, a spokesperson for Peter said: “Peter and Emily are both extremely happy. Both mother and baby are doing fine.”

Emily previously revealed that Peter had cried when she and Amelia broke the news that Emily was pregnant.

Explaining the adorable way that they told the singer the news, Emily explained: “Millie and I wrapped up the test and put it in a little bag. When Pete got home I told him we had got him a present.

“He didn’t get it and was just looking at the test. He thought I’d just bought one to do! Pete started crying when I told him I was pregnant.

“He was really happy.”

Pete is also father to nine-year-old Princess and 11-year-old Junior from his marriage to Katie Price.

Huge congratulations once again to Emily and Peter – we can’t wait to meet the new baby Andre.
