Peter Andre Delays Honeymoon With Emily MacDonagh After Being Involved In Court Battle

The last thing you really want to do after your gorgeous wedding is head to a High Court row, right?

Unfortunately for poor Peter Andre, that exact thing has happened, with the 42-year-old being forced to delay his honeymoon with new wife Emily to head to court instead.

And they say romance is dead.

According to The Mirror, Pete has been called to Queen’s Bench Division Commercial Court as a witness in a case between ITV2 and his former TV producer Neville Hendricks.

Neville claims that the singer was set to expose Katie Price, his ex-wife, as a cheat to “cause Katie distress and to boost his own image.”

Despite admitting to having “no evidence to support this belief,” the producer claimed that his former partner and Pete’s manager Claire Powell “obtained a phone that belonged to the man Peter suspected,” but that it did “not contain the evidence she thought.”

The case also claims he found her disabled son Harvey, who she had with footballer Dwight Yorke, “difficult to be with,” to which Neville allegedly “advised him to write a song about Harvey, which was how a song called Unconditional came about.”

The producer claimed: “The song spoke of his love and while I am not saying he did not love him in his own way, that love was not unconditional.

“That increased the pressure on Peter to be seen to be taking an interest but the reality was different.”

Neville is suing ITV2 for £549,060 damages and costs after the channel stopped him producing reality shows such as those involving Peter and those involved Kerry Katona.

However, ITV2 say he was in breach of contact and is therefore not entitled to the money.

They also want damages of £261,951.

Peter is expected to give evidence on Wednesday.
