Peter Andre has landed his first Hollywood film role – and it’s a “damn big part”.

Andre, 44, has swapped singing for acting in an upcoming movie titled, The Undoing.

The reality TV star broke the news on Instagram by posting a picture of himself holding the film script.

He gave a shout out to the director James Hickox as he captioned the shot: “Finally. I've received (after months of talks) my first ever film script. Start filming in LA next year,'s a damn big part.... wahoo.!

“I've only waited 44 years. James Hickox I'll see you soon brother (sic).”

He followed the post with another which revealed the name of the film and the poster.

He wrote: “Here it is :) Can't wait to start filming.”

A description of the film reads: “When a group of sceptical TV ghost hunters stumble upon a real haunting, they think they have hit the jackpot to prove the paranormal does exist.

“With an eminent scientist in tow, they unleash a horror of such magnitude that only the lucky ones are systematically and brutally murdered.”

Fans were quick to congratulate the singer on his “fantastic” new role with one writing: “So thrilled for you.. A wonderful opportunity.. New future awaits you xx.”

Another wrote: “Bless well done Pete. Couldn’t of happened to a nicer man x.”

A third posted: “I'm so so proud of you!! This is fantastic Pete.”
