Peter Andre reveals wife's sex ban after royal baby made him broody

Pop star Peter Andre has admitted that the birth of the royal baby has made him broody, leading his wife to hit him with a sex ban.

Writing in his regular column for new! magazine, the 46-year-old singer said his wife, Emily, wants him to "sleep on the other side of the bed" since he confessed to considering a fifth child.

Andre and Emily have had two children together, in addition to the two children Andre fathered with glamour model and TV personality Katie Price.

The Mysterious Girl performer wrote that he has been excited by the prospect of having another child ever since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's baby boy, Archie, was born on 6 May.

He said: "Since the arrival of Harry and Meghan's son Archie, I've started thinking: 'Should we try for another one?'

"I'd love to. I know the joyful feelings they're experiencing right now and it brings it all back home."

He confessed, though, that 29-year-old Emily is less keen on the prospect of another sibling for five-year-old Amelia and Theodore, two.

Emily, who works as a doctor, previously said "never say never" when asked about whether she might have another child with Andre, but hinted that it's unlikely to happen soon.

She told OK! magazine in April: "It’s 100 per cent not happening at the moment as now is not the right time."

Andre himself has changed his mind about children on numerous occasions.

He recently got fans excited about the prospect of a new Andre arrival with a cryptic social media post saying he had "some exciting news".

The fan excitement was shortlived when the post ultimately turned out to be teasing an announcement regarding a new management agency that Andre has signed with in America.
