Peter Andre's son Junior brands him a one hit wonder

Peter Andre has tried to see the funny side after son Junior called him a ‘one hit wonder’.

The Mysterious Girl singer shared a clip on Instagram of 14-year-old Junior rapping about his family.

Junior raps: “Peter Andre who? Oh yeah him! The one hit wonder. Stevie Wonder, yeah.

“Oh yeah, I like it, it was good. I roasted my dad and it was good.

“In the hood. It’s MC Junior, you know it’s good.”

Andre, 46, captioned the clip: “Now let me explain.... I’ve had 3 number ones yeah........ but J wanted to freestyle so erm...... anyway I guess you need to follow him now ‘cos he got me good @officialjunior_andre

The singer has only ever had one Number One single in the UK, Flava, in September 1996.

Andre rose to fame after the release of Mysterious Girl in 1995, but it peaked at Number 2. His 1997 single Natural reached Number 6.

After appearing on I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! in 2004 he release the song he had penned in the jungle - Insania, but it flopped.

Last month Junior posted a picture on Instagram of himself in a pair of swimming trunks on the beach and joked he was trying to attain his father’s infamous abs.

He captioned the image: “Loving the beach life! (tryna shape up like dad) @peterandre [sic]”

Andre famously flaunted his body in the video for Mysterious Girl.

The singer is father to Junior and 12-year-old Princess, who he had with his ex-wife Katie Price. He also has a five-year-old daughter Millie and two-year-old son Theo with second wife Emily MacDonagh, who can be seen laughing in the video.
