Peter Kay Car Share star turns up on Death in Paradise
Death in Paradise returned with its third episode of series seven on Thursday night (January 18) – although it was actually Peter Kay's Car Share that was on viewers' minds.
Last time out, Ardal O'Hanlon's DI Jack Mooney and the team entered the world of high-stakes poker when a finalist was poisoned to death during the Caribbean Poker Masters tournament.
One fan was so eager (cynical?) ahead of the next episode, they created their very own Death in Paradise bingo card:
Right then folks, here is your #DeathInParadise Bingo Card. Mark them off during tonight's episode. BBC1 9pm. pic.twitter.com/XUtvgiaDdT

So, another murky case beckoned for the crime fighters on Thursday when famous thriller author Frank O'Toole – played by James Faulkner – was found stabbed through the heart with a clean knife in the middle of the ocean. (Warning: the following fake stabbing is kinda gruesome.)

Interesting sense of #anatomy in #DeathInParadise. Apparently, this victim was stabbed in the heart. #FormAnOrderlyQueue pic.twitter.com/r3ohyc7khB

Fans were excited to see Simon Callow guest star as Larry South, Frank's literary agent. Even if everyone started suspecting him.
Look who it is! Amazing to have @SimonCallow on the show! #DeathInParadise pic.twitter.com/3PxLR3dgHf

Suspect Simon Callow. Too well known an actor to be otherwise in this #DeathinParadise
