Peyton Manning and David Letterman Shoot Episode of Manning's Show at Ball State University

Former late-night TV host David Letterman and football player Peyton Manning filmed an episode of Manning’s show Peyton’s Places at Letterman’s alma mater, Ball State University, in Muncie, Indiana, on October 20.

Footage of the duo shows Manning throwing a football and knocking over a beer can at the campus’s Frog Baby Fountain.

According to a press release from BSU, the pair were on campus shooting an episode of Peyton’s Places, the Emmy-nominated ESPN+ documentary series hosted by Manning.

“It was an exciting day for our football program,” said Beth Goetz, Ball State University’s Director of Athletics in the press release. “The team was thrilled to engage with these two Indiana legends for ‘Peyton’s Places.’ We are grateful for the opportunity to help showcase our campus, as it was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience for our student-athletes and coaches.”
