Philip Schofield and Rochelle Humes went all out with their Halloween costumes on This Morning
This Morning went all out for Halloween today (October 31) as the hosts and studio were given a complete makeover.
The Halloween special began eerily as the camera tracked through the studio to reveal it had been turned into a haunted fairground.
Host Phillip Schofield then emerged from behind a carousel, dressed as a rather disturbing-looking ringmaster. He was completely unrecognisable!
Schofield was soon joined by Rochelle Humes – she’s standing in for Holly Willoughby while she’s away filming I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! – who was dressed as a spooky trapeze artist. Rylan Clark was also in on the act, appearing as a scary jester.
“Your teeth have never looked better,” Humes jokingly told Schofield as she walked onto the set.
Viewers were seriously impressed by the costumes on display.

Of course, there were plenty of frights throughout the episode, most notably when Steve Wilson jumped out of a box dressed as a clown and absolutely terrified Humes and Clark.
“Do you not realise how dangerous that is with me?” Clark told Schofield, admitting that he’s likely to swear when scared. “Do you not know what my default words are?”

However, the best moment of the Halloween special undoubtedly came when Schofield pretended to interview ghost.
Returning guest Amethyst Realm, who previously said on the show that she was trying to have a baby with a ghost (yes, really) actually brought her spirit partner into the studio to announce they are now engaged.
Ray (named after a ray of light) was supposedly sat next to Realm, being given his own space on the sofa and everything.
I’m howling 😂😂😂 no way did the camera pan onto the empty space next to her on the sofa 😂😂😂 #ThisMorning pic.twitter.com/zK2inBSOyP

“Ray it’s a pleasure to meet you,” said Schofield to an empty chair, as the camera slowly panned to where Ray was ‘sitting’.
“What was it about Amy that made you fall in love?” he then asked. Of course, there was nothing but silence, but Realm then communicated for her transparent lover, claiming that he said their “connection was very strong”.
