We all know Phillip Schofield can do just about anything, from getting up early every morning to presenting on ice and even talking to a gopher.

But it turns out that the man who once played the lead role in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat also has some seemingly biblical powers.

On Tuesday night's (December 18) episode of How to Spend It Well at Christmas, Phillip was testing out more gadgets for us to put on our lists for Santa.

This time, it was the Zerowater 7 cup filter, which promises to remove 99.6% of the impurities from your tap water, including minerals, salts and metals.

Phil tested out the jug and was pleasantly surprised with the results, with the impurity reader showing zero when he tested the water after filtering.

But to really put the product to the test, Phil the maverick decided to sacrifice a precious glass of red wine, to see what would happen after it went through the filter.

As it was being filtered, the red wine turned clear and when he poured a glass, Phil was stunned at the result.

"That tastes just like water!" he said after taking a sip. "Where has the wine gone?"

While it would be much more useful if he'd been able to turn water into wine, viewers were still pretty impressed by Phil's trick.

The show also featured Gogglebox faves Steph and Dom tasting gin and Steph having a sexy dream about Phil.

But as the man himself said, there's only one Steph for him, wife and How to Spend It Well guest Steph Lowe.
