New Footage Released of China's Rover on Martian Surface

China’s National Space Administration (CNSA) released new images and video on May 22 showing its Zhurong rover on the surface of Mars.

The images show the Zhurong rover leaving its “landing platform”, the CNSA said.

The mission has made China the second country in the world to successfully land a rover on the surface of Mars. China’s President Xi Jinping said on May 15: “China is now among the leading countries in planetary exploration.” Credit: CNSA via Storyful
