Bird's eye view: 21 aerial shots which make Earth look like a giant toy set

These incredible aerial images make street scenes and beachgoers look like one big toy set. American photographer Alex MacLean, who is also a pilot, flies his carbon fibre plane around the world snapping motorways, houses and umbrellas at the beach. MacLean, 67, will be exhibiting his work for the first time in London at the Beetles and Huxley gallery from March 3 to March 29.
