Egyptians clash with police on Mubarak anniversary

Egyptian protesters were involved in fresh clashes with police today, on the second anniversary of the overthrow of the autocratic ruler Hosni Mubarak. Crowds gathered outside the Presidential Palace in Cairo demanding the departure of Mohammed Mursi as his opponents believe he has betrayed the values of the revolution. The current unrest started on January 24 when the country marked the second anniversary of the revolution. The violence has left scores dead across the country.
